This year's $500 charitable donation was presented to Whatcom Land Trust towards the acquisition of Lily Point Marine Reserve.
10th Annual Point Roberts
Garden Tour
Sunday, July 20, 2008
10 a.m.—4:30 p.m.
To celebrate the tenth-anniversary of the tour, we have eleven varied gardens, including two perennial favorites. Tickets include entrance to the gardens, plus afternoon tea and refreshments served in the garden at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Tickets will be on sale in late June at Nielson's Building Center on Tyee Drive and CG Bloomers on Benson Road in Point Roberts and Harris Nursery, 12th Avenue, Tsawwassen or Ladner Trunk Road, Ladner.
On the day of the tour, July 20th, tickets will ONLY be on sale at CG Bloomers on Benson Road.
Ticket: US/CDN $15.00.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We are looking for garden gatekeepers and helpers for the tea. Please contact us, if you are interested in volunteering for this year's tour. Call Carol Fuegi 945-2338.

FUNDRAISERS
Funds for the administration of the Garden Tour are raised by selling spring and summer flowering bulbs and perennials, and through silent auctions and raffles.
BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT
The Garden Club has chosen Tyee Road as an ongoing beautification project; the price of each ticket goes in part towards this effort.
We will continue to work in sustainable and green ways to promote beauty and harmony in our lovely community.
