2007 Garden Tour Recap

Last year's Garden Tour was another success. A big thank you to all our volunteers; you made the day enjoyable for everyone! With last year's profits we were able to donate $1200 to Point Roberts Emergency Preparedness, and another $1200 towards 2007's Beautification Project along Tyee.
And we'd like to point out that the Project received lots of help from Whatcom County. Paul Kelly and his crew from Public Works supplied the fill dirt, topsoil, mulch, bluebell bulbs, wildflower seeds, plus all their hard work. Due to their aid, the "Beautification" on Tyee was more extensive than planned. We're all very grateful!
We hope you have enjoyed our first Point Roberts Beautification Project near the corner of Tyee and Benson, and look forward to the next!
