Our Community Projects
The Garden Club felt a refreshed and visually-appealing entry to our center of commerce should welcome residents and visitors, alike. So, we decided to make Tyee Drive an ongoing beautification project.
Through lots of hard work by many hands, together with support and assistance from Whatcom County, invasive species were cleared, flower beds were created, and attractive pathways were added.
Thousands of daffodil bulbs were planted, and this spring the display was beautiful.
Response from the community has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic. Thank you!
